Caprese Salad
Ingredients:
-
4-5 Large Ripe Tomatos, sliced 1/4" thick
-
1 lb Fresh whole milk Mozzarella or
Burrata sliced up to 1/4" thick
-
1/3 Cup fresh Basil, thinly sliced
-
Thinly sliced red onion (if desired).

Extra Virgin
Olive Oil
-
Aged Balsamic
Vinegar
-
Salt and
Pepper to taste
Prepare
ingredients. If you are using Burrata save any of the
cream that leaks out when slicing and pour it into the
center of your serving dish.
Starting at the
center of your serving dish, layer tomato, onion and cheese
in a circular pattern while working your way to the outside
of your serving dish.
Drizzle first
with approximately 1/4 cup of Aged Balsamic Vinegar and then
approximately 1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
