Wine (or Craft Beer) Tasting Schedule

Schedule for November 2008

Craft Beers from The Bruery - $12.00

Hard Cheeses & Pretzels - $12.00

Saturday November 1, 2008,  12:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Sunday November 2, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Enjoy five Unique Boutique Craft Beers from The Bruery paired with hard cheeses and Pretzels this Saturday and Sunday.

Orchard White  This Belgian-style Whitbier is spiced with coriander, citrus peel and lavender.  Complex and silky textured.

Black Orchard.  This Belgian-style black wheat ale is dark but surprisingly light bodied.  Chamomile adds some floral characteristics while coriander and citrus peel give it the traditional characteristics of whit bier.  A beer with great character and complexity.

Saison Rue.  This Belgian/French-style farmhouse ale is subtle and complex with malted rye, spice, fruity like yeast notes, biscuit like malt backbone and a slight citrus hop character.  As it ages it becomes drier and more complex with rustic notes of leather and earth from the contribution of a wild yeast strain.

Trade Winds Tripel  This full flavored Belgian-style Tripel is given a distinctive Southeast Asian flair due to the addition of rice in the mash and Thai basil.  Refreshing and complex.

Autumn Maple This Autumn seasonal brew is a different take on the "Pumpkin" beer style with yams being used instead.  Brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, molasses and maple syrup and fermented with the Bruery's traditional Belgian Yeast strain, this beer is bold and spicy and perfect for the Holidays.

Enjoy an individual cheese tray with cheeses paired specifically with the Craft Beers featured on today's tasting for $12.00  Please see our Menu for other cheese trays, charcuterie and non-alcoholic beverages.
